REPORTS TO:             MANAGER, NETWORK OPERATIONS 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide end-users with day-to-day support of all corporate software and hardware in accordance to Information Technology standards.
  • Perform various Systems Architecture functions for both the desktop side and the network side.
  • Perform system design functions to ensure the satisfactory creation of hardware and software standards.
  • Perform system scripting/programming functions to develop any required deployment, logging and implementation tools.
  • Assist Network Administrator with routine duties.  

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Community College Diploma in computer science.
  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) Certification.
  • 2 - 3 years experience in providing end user support.
  • 1 - 2 years experience in supporting Windows 7 and Office 2010.
  • 1 – 2 years experience in Enterprise Software Management and deployment.
  • 1 – 2 years experience scripting/programming (e.g. VBScript, PowerShell).
  • 1 – 2 years experience working with Windows Deployment methodology.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and oral.
  • Bilingual in English and French would be an asset.
  • Excellent Project documentation skills are mandatory.
  • Skilled in PC hardware assembly and maintenance and proficient in resolving PC software and hardware issues as well as printer issues.
  • Experience with a Help Desk system is an asset.
